Reinventing the large Firm: The secret sauce?
The Secret Sauce?
In a Volatile, Uncertain, Complex, and Ambiguous (VUCA) world, take a short cut to find out from Tabitha what the 'secret sauce' is to 'Reinventing the large firm', as heard by the international innovation students of Stockholm School of Economics.
Tabitha Cooper has worked in the arena of Change Management in large companies and Banks in the UK and Europe like Barclays UK, RBS, ABN AMRO Bank N.V., ING, Lloyds Banking Group, for 20+ years, with the latter 10 years working for some well-known Swedish brands like Nordea, Klarna and IKEA. Where her focus moved from traditional Change Management for large mergers and acquisitions later moving into the arena of Digital and cultural transformations through engaging Agile, Customer Experience/Service Design, and Innovation, ways of working adopted by newer companies like Klarna as the norm, or adopted by older companies like Nordea and IKEA, to remain relevant in a fast-changing landscape and context.
She spoke about some of structural complexities and solutions to “Reinventing the Large Firm”, suggesting that innovation is not just a case of the adopting the latest methods, agile or innovation processes or just coming up with great ideas.
There is an unexpected source of reinvention or innovation that often gets overlooked, that if invested in, in a real way, is the real differentiator for successful companies.
